Welcome to the regional meeting of the Pathfinding Countries in Europe and Central-Asia
The Regional Meetings of Europe and Central Asia held in Strasbourg, France (on 2 April) and Bucharest, Romania (on 13-14 October) underscored that ending violence against children requires integrated, multisectoral action rooted in strong political commitment and a whole-of-society approach. Countries demonstrated meaningful progress across a range of priority areas. These efforts reflect a growing regional consensus that ending violence against children is a strategic investment in the region’s future. As preparations begin for the next global Pathfinding Global Alliance meeting in early 2026, Pathfinding Countries in Europe and Central Asia are committed to leading with evidence, innovation, and solidarity, driving measurable progress toward the shared goal of ending all forms of violence against children by 2030.
