Violence against children and the digital environment

Children are online from a younger age, and as technologies evolve, risks evolve. Children have the right to be protected from all forms of violence. Online risks include cyberbullying, sexual exploitation, harmful content, grooming, and misuse of personal data. Children want safer online platforms, stronger laws, and better ways to report harm. Everyone has a role to play: governments, parents, educators, tech companies, civil society, and children themselves. Prevention must be the priority. Children are part of the solution and are helping create a culture of safety online. Making the Internet safer is a shared responsibility. Now is the time to act.
