“Ending the Torment: tackling bullying from the schoolyard to cyberspace”

General Assembly Resolution 69/158 requested the Secretary-General to submit a report to its seventy-first session on protecting children from bullying which is addressed by the Third Committee of the General Assembly (A/71/213).
In support of this process, the Office of the Special Representative in collaboration with a group of leading experts on this topic, is launching a book on the protection of children from bullying and cyberbullying: Ending the Torment: tackling bullying from the schoolyard to cyberspace.
The book includes a collection of eighteen pieces that cover the empowerment and resilience of children, legislation and public policies, school interventions, and data and regional trends of children’s exposure to bullying and cyberbullying.
