"Witchcraft Beliefs and Practices" - Side Event @ Human Rights Council - Wednesday - 7 March, Palais des Nations, Room XXV 13:30-15:00

Following up on the Expert Workshop on witchcraft and human rights that took place in Geneva on 21 and 22 September 2018, this side event will focus on the impact of harmful witchcraft beliefs and practices on children's rights. Being particularly vulnerable, children are often victims. Too often, impunity prevails, despite the seriousness of these human rights abuses. This event will contribute to the growing momentum of work being carried out on these issues and help to ensure that further child rights abuses are prevented.
